SURVIVAL 101

Need a new tv series?

TV series are something I just cant live without, they are what I watch when I'm bored, they are something that are always there and just generally are amazing!
Here are some TV series I would reccomend!

1: The vampire diaries: This is just, words dont describe my love for vampire diaries, the 3 main characters are Elena(Nina Dobrev), Stefan(Paul Wesley) and Damon(Ian Somerhalder) and its all about the 2 salvatore brothers who are vampires returning to where they grew up. Stefan meets Elena and falls in love with her(this is like season 1 by the way, there are 4 seasons all together). Im trying not to give anything away and so I'm just sticking to that outline but its seriously amazing. Its full of scares, twists, romance, heart break and everything! Its an american TV series and so in the USA, they are like 7 episodes ahead or something? Currently, we are on season 4(which is only online or on tv) but the previous 3 seasons are all on DVD and online!

2: Revenge: Revenge, its quite complicated so stay concentrated but honestly its amazing! This is all about Amanda Clarkes father being framed by a very rich and very powerful company for the take down of flght 197. Amanda(or as she is known throughout the tv series, Emily thorne) comes back to the hamptons to take revenge on every person that was involved in framing her father. So far there are 2 series, I dont think on DVD yet but most deffinatly online and tv! I would recomend this purely because there are so many things you do not expect and it is just so clever how she goes about things and so its a must watch! Its full of heartbreak, romance, action and skill(?).

3: New girl: so I'm only actually on season 1 because when it was on I never really got into it! but this is so funny and amazing! Its pretty much about this girl Jess, who moves into a flat with a group of guys she met online after she and her boyfriend break up. Its so funny, I would say that my favourite character is Schmidt as he is so funny and personally I find him hot!! Honestly I dont know how many tv series there are but I think theres more than 2. At the moment New girl is on E4 in the UK and online as well!! This is most deffinatly comedic, romance and I guess kinda heartbreak.

4: The OC: The OC is just perfect, standing for the Orange County, it is all about troublemaker and badboy Ryan being taken back to what is Rich-kid central by his officer as him and his stepdad fought. He meets Marissa, a very pretty kind girl who is sadly taken by someone he got off on the wrong foot with. He becomes very good friends with the son of his officer Seth and begins to settle into his new life. Now I know for sure that this has 4 tv series and I am only on season 1 but oh well. Season 1 is amazing and I would 100% recomend this for you. There are heartbreaks, fights, funny, normal day life moments which we come across in this tv series!

I dont really know what to title this so lets say 'it doesnt have a title'

Its just explaining something I want to say,

-its kind of easy and hard to say but around this time of year(from january to now) I always have a really close guy friend, one that I talk to everyday and get on with a lot. Then around about now, it messes up and we stop talking. I dont know why, but this is the second time in a row that its happened. This guy is a lot easier to say goodbye to than the first one and at the start I didnt think I was strong enough to cope with not talking to him all day everyday but it was just yesterday when things I was saying to him, he was kind of saying in the least suttle way well isnt this awkward as both his replies were -_- and ... and things i say to him and he replies almost instantly even if it was just a haha, he just read and ignored. So i finally just told myself I was strong enough without him, that i will still keep his secret and talk to him at school if i see him(i think i'll do that anyway) but I'd way rather focus on friendship. Especially 1 because I dont want to loose her as shes the greatest person ever.

I think that this is really under rated and people dont realise how important this really is.

1: Your friends- People do not understand how important your friends are at school. This should be your priority when you wake up in the morning. Your friends are the ones who you set next to into class, who you can bitch to people about, who make you laugh, talk to you about your crushes, obsess over celebirties with and keep your secrets. Its trust that is key in your friendships, if you spill a secret YOU ARE NOT A TRUE FRIEND,something you should learn is that even though you may have an argument with the person or you just drift apart, you still keep the secret. So I can see you being like we know all of this? why are you posting this? but im saying this because sometimes you can get caught up in popularity or knowing something that you want to say and so you say it. Learn that if your there for the person that trusts you, they should do the same.

2: Asking for help: I realise how gay this sounds, but teachers are there to help you, they are not expecting you to be a know-it-all and so if you are stuck, you should ask. Otherwise the teacher will just get angry if you havent done the work and if you say I was stuck... you will get a reply of 'then why didnt you ask for help, I dont bite'

3: Crushes- ITS NOT A PRIOTY AND PEOPLE OVER RATE THIS SO MUCH. You can have a crush thats fine, but pick carefully, the ones that I choose are 'Mr Popular' or part of the douchebag gang(sorry to anyone I offend, but you guys actually hurt girls a lot) I think crushes are horrible, its all you ever think about and if you dont know the guy, you try and get to know them and they just throw it back in your face. For example, they show their friends your conversations, IF I WANTED THE WORLD TO SEE IM SURE I WOULD OF SENT THE MESSAGE TO EVERYONE NOT JUST YOU, TWAT. I hate this more than anything, and seriously, dont think this is important coz its not. The right guy/girl will come.

4: Break and Lunch- This is what saves my life at school, its a time where you can do ANYTHING(well) and your with your friends, your able to talk, shout, run, look at what everyone else is up to. Most of my friends are into clinics and clubs and so were always inside which I dont enjoy so I thank god its summer term so we will be outside more!

5 must watch movies

The best thing about socializing is that there are so many things to do, me and my friends kind of have different movie tastes so we have to sacrifice sometimes but mostly I really enjoy the movies! I will try and choose a range of movies to recomend

1: Soul surfer: My friend, Rachel was the first to discover this movie and she always set status's about it so when I saw it was on(sky movies, sky family) I decided i'd give it a try. Set on the coasts of America, this film is all about the life of teen surfer Bethany Hamilton(she is played by the most stunning person- AnnaSophia Robb) who has an amazing career ahead of her in surfing, this is until shes involved in a shark attack and looses one of her arms. I really like this movie, its based on a true story but it also shows how everything is possible. The most famous quote of the movie is 'i dont need easy, i just need possible'. Its a film for everyone though I dont actually know any boys who have watched it so i cant say if boys will like it, but its not all girly girl for boys who are reading this. Now DVD wise, from when I last checked, its only available on region 1 dvd players and so its unvailable in the UK, usually its on the sky movies channel once every few weeks so keep an eye out! If not, deffinatly stream the movie online!

2: Skyfall: Skyfall is just an amazing movie, some girls may disagree with me but when I saw with my friends(all girls) we fell in love with Daniel Craig and just loved everything about the movie. So in skyfall bond supposidly 'dies' at the start, but as the movie progresses, you see MI5 are being blackmailed and bond makes his return. This movie involves the romance, drama, action as well sad moment. This film is attracting more to a mixed group of friends or a group of girls that like this genre movie, but its a perfect one for me. From what I am aware of, it is available all over the world on DVD and should soon be on TV, but if not many places online will most deffinatly have it.

3: Angus thongs and perfect snogging:This is deffinatly aimed at the female gender, though boys feel free to watch it. Well 14 Georgia Nickelson is going through changes and finally wants to grow up, with the 'ace gang' she is able to discuss anything, mainly boys. 2 'sex gods' as they are called move up from london, and Georgia and her best friend Jaz fall in love.This movie is all about Georgia trying to get robbie(the sex god) but comes across a few hurdles on the way. I enjoyed this movie because it most deffinatly relates to what every girl is thinking and oh my god the actor of robbie(Aaron Johnson) is just amazingly hot. This is a movie from 2008 and so its quite old but its on DVD or if not, the helpful internet!

4: Phoneboothe: This is a you have to concentrate, no talking movie otherwise it makes no sense. Cocky and agressive american workers are displayed in this movie and so one man decides to take this matter into his own hands by ringing a public phoneboothe telling the main character if he leaves, he will be shot down with out a second thought and to do exactly as he says. This includes ringing his wife and telling her hes been cheating on her. As much as its a bad way to teach someone a lesson it is actually really powerful because its really interesting as well as(cringy as it sounds) teaches you life lessons. I dont know when it was made, but its available all over the world on DVD, or the internet again!

5: Taken: This movie is all about human trafficking and prostitution, when a daughter of ex CIA agent(The insane liam neeson) goes to paris with her friend and they get taken. He promises to hunt the person down and kill them. So yes, he flies all the way over to paris to do this. I'm sorry, but if anyone does not like this movie, you are crazy, its one of the greatest films and is so powerful. Mainly a boy movie but um i really dont think this should hold girls back from watching it, i think that movies for each gender is really over-rated. This film will deffinatly be on DVD, if not STREAM IT ONLINE!!!!

The 5 things I want to improve on:

So, I always find that these are 5 things I want to imrpove on, its just what I do about it:
-Just for clarification, this is not in order of importance or anything like that, just simple random.

1) Brushing my teeth morning AND evening- now, this is mainly for the morning, but I always find I rarely ever brush my teeth during the morning, its one of my worst habbits and its something I want to imrpove on.

2) Reading more books- right now, im sitting in my bed and I can see that on my bookshelf I have more movies than books!! I am NOT a reader, its what i struggle with lots, and so from today *deap swallow*..... I shall 'try' and read more books.

3) Not being impatient- not everything is right there when you want it, this is the same with people, you may want to chat to someone but they may be unavailable! One of my big holes about me is I am quite impatient, for example, I'm talking to someone at the moment and if i message isnt sent back with in minutes of my respone, I feel the curtisy of typing another message? NO MORE!! This makes me look not only impatient, but depserate as well!

4) Treat your body with care- now, I am not saying ive got the 'best body' or a 'body to die for' because I havent, but I suppose I like my body and I suppose some people would give anything to have it.. so instead of waking up, thinking oh its 11am, I'll have pickled onion monster munch for breakfast followed by other greasy food, I shall now take my body with care(food plan to come- I think) by eating A LOT more healthy food.

5) Not caring what my class think of me- now there a boundries for this one, but when I say this, I mean if your insecure or shy, THIS IS WHERE WE NEED CONFIDENCE, im a tall person, who is surrounded by bitchy people in one of my classes and so I have a very and I MEAN very awkward stand from where I try and make myself smaller, I also just hate the class, but honestly(depending on what year your in) I have got I'd say about 1 more year with those peple and unless they are your friends, why should you care what they think of you?
